Who is B&B Alegría
Veerle welcomes you to her own bed and Breakfast with two bedrooms each with private bathroom and toilet.
The name Alegría is not just chosen, Alegría is Spanish and means “joy”.
That is what Veerle stands for and that also radiates them in this B&B. The street where the B&B is located, is named after a famous plant and herbalist who lived in Mechelen. Flowers are certainly found in and around the B&B.
Location
B&B Alegría, located just outside the centre, is the perfect location for a visit to Mechelen.
For several years Mechelen has been clearly put on the map for many activities such as
Shopping, culture, history, art, events,…
This art city offers experiences for everyone.
The fact that the B&B is located near the canal (point 93), the location is also the ideal for cyclists who would like to make a stopover in Mechelen.
Cycling
While the cyclists charge their batteries during a well-deserved night’s sleep in one of the soothing rooms, the electric bikes can also be recharged in the enclosed bicycle shed so that the sports enthusiasts will have the next day Can be tough again.

Breakfast (optional)
The usual breakfast buffet is currently unavailable.
As an alternative, a mini breakfast (to go) can be provided for €10 per person.
This mini breakfast includes:
- 1 croissant
- 1 chocolate pastry
- 1 Nespresso coffee
- 1 fruit juice
- 1 piece of fruit
For groups of at least 5 people, the breakfast buffet may still be available upon request.

There are several breakfast options within walking distance of the B&B
